All-rounder Dwayne Pretorius fractured his thumb during the third T20I against India. Due to which he could not play in the ODI series. Yansen got a chance in the playing XI of South Africa in the third ODI against India. In the third ODI, Yansen conceded 43 runs in 5.1 overs without taking any wicket. Let us tell you that in this match, the target of only 100 runs was in front of the Indian team.

The 22-year-old has played seven Tests, three ODIs and one T20 International for South Africa. South Africa’s team will play its first match in the T20 World Cup in Hobart on 24 October. In the first round, South Africa will face the top team in Group B.
