San Francisco: Tech giant Apple has announced that its subscription-based Fitness Plus service will now be available to iPhone users in 21 countries from October 24.
Apple launches Fitness Plus feature for iPhone
Fitness Plus users with Apple Watch can continue to take their motivation to the next level with personalized real-time metrics displayed on the iOS device. However, users can enjoy the services even if they do not have an Apple Watch.
Jay Blahnik, Apple’s Vice President of Fitness Technologies, said in a statement, “We built Fitness Plus to be the most inclusive and welcoming fitness service in the world, and the feedback from our users has been overwhelmingly positive. Let the amazing effects reach iPhone users and make it easier than ever to start your health and fitness journey.”
Feature can be shared with up to five members
The subscription-based service can be shared with up to five other family members. In addition, Fitness Plus will include music by Taylor Swift, beginning with a series of solo artist spotlights featuring new songs from her upcoming album, ‘Midnights’.
Fitness Plus will also introduce a new workout program, Yoga for Every Runner, led by Fitness Plus yoga trainer Jessica Skye and featuring Scott Jurek.
