The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will release the date sheet for the 10th and 12th board term examinations on Monday, October 18, 2021. This date sheet will be released on the official website of CBSE  www.cbse.gov.in/. However, the date sheet shown on social media and many media websites is fake. This has also been confirmed by CBSE. It is believed that the date sheet will be released by evening. CBSE Term 1 exam will start from 15th November to 24th November, while Term 2 exam will be conducted in March-April.

In Term 1 candidates will be asked only multiple-choice questions, whereas in Term 2 both multiple-choice and written questions will be asked. According to the notice issued by CBSE, the practical examinations will be conducted before the term examinations. The final results will be announced only after the second session examination. The board has divided the academic session into two parts, each session covering about 50% of the syllabus.

It was recently informed by the board that the examination of minor subjects will be taken first, while the examination of major subjects will be taken later. The time limit of the exam will be 90 minutes and it will be started from 11:30 instead of 10:30. Candidates will be given 15 to 20 minutes to read the question paper.

Education boards of many states have also adopted the
CBSE formula. A total of 189 subjects are taken by CBSE, which takes 40 to 45 days to complete. Keeping in view the convenience of the examinees, the board has divided the subjects into two parts. The examinations for major subjects will be conducted as per the date sheet and for minor subjects examinations will be organized by CBAE in clusters of schools, where examination of more than one subject will be taken in a day.

Students who are preparing for the board exam can download the syllabus and sample paper from the official website of the board  www.cbse.gov.in/. In 2021, CBSE postponed both the 10th and 12th board examinations in view of the impact of the corona epidemic. To avoid this situation, the examinations of the session 2021-22 have been divided into two parts. Education boards of many states have also adopted this formula of CBSE.
