The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) has started preparations for the online board examinations for the first semester of class 10th and 12th. Students will be able to appear online in the examination to be held in November/December at school or at home. Regarding this, the board has called for a separate list of such students from all the principals. Those who want to give the exam in online mode sitting at home or from school. The order of the board has reached 19 schools of Gorakhpur.
According to the order, students will also have to inform their principal about which device they will take the exam from a laptop, desktop, tablet, and smartphone. The relevant medium must have a camera and a microphone. However, the board has given priority to schools to make online centers on schools. But this will require the consent of the parents. Principals will have to upload this information on the career portal of the board.
The link will be activated from Thursday. It is mandatory to send the information to the board by 18 October. CISCE has also prepared a concrete action plan for mock-free examinations. Under this, proctors, buffer proctors and IT spot executives will be deployed in every school for online monitoring of examinations. All the school operators have to upload the names of such people from their respective schools online on the portal.
There will be one proctor for 25 students
According to the order of the Board, a Proctor will be posted in the ratio of 1:25. Along with this, each school will have to deploy a buffer proctor for 50 students. A maximum of three buffer proctor schools can be deployed. Along with this, one IT sports executive will be deployed for 100 students. A maximum of three IT sports executives can be deployed. Its list will have to be uploaded on the career portal by 7-12 October.
President Gorakhpur School Association Ajay Shahi said that for the first-semester board examinations to be conducted in online mode by CISCE, the students have been given the facility to choose the center from home and school.
