Kohli added 49 off 36 balls for the second wicket with Indian captain Rohit Sharma and 34 runs off 23 balls for the fourth wicket with Rishabh Pant.

In the second T20 match, Team India defeated West Indies by 8 runs. There was a target of 187 runs in front of the Windies, but the team could only score 178 runs in 20 overs for the loss of 3 wickets and lost the match. With the win, Team India has also captured the T20 series. India won its fourth consecutive T20I series against West Indies.
