CTET / UPTET 2021: How Much Can Be Scored in These Eligibility Tests, See Here

The dates for the conduct of CTET and UPTET have been announced. CTET 2021 is scheduled to be conducted from December 16 to January 13 and UPTET on November 28.

The dates have been announced for the country’s two biggest eligibility tests, the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) and the Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET). It is noteworthy that CTET is conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and UPTET is conducted by the Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board (UPBEB). According to the notification issued for CTET 2021, it is to be conducted from 16 December to 13 January and for this candidates can apply till 19 October.

By scoring how much you will be able to be successful
in both the CTET and UPTET exams, two papers are organized. In these, the candidates who wish to teach from class 1 to class 5 have to give paper 1, while those who wish to teach from class 6 to class 8 have to give their paper 2. In both the papers of both these exams, 150 questions are asked for a total of 150 marks. General category candidates appearing in any paper of these two examinations have to secure 60 percent i.e. 90 marks as a cut-off score. Reserved category candidates have to score a minimum of 55 percent i.e. 82.5 marks to pass this exam. 

On what pattern is the exam conducted?
In both the papers of CTET and UPTET, 150 questions are asked for a total of 150 marks, for which the candidates get 150 minutes to solve. The syllabus and exam pattern of both these eligibility tests are the same, which candidates can see in the notification.
