David Miller: A mountain of sorrow broke on David Miller who came to India tour, his most special fan Annie passed away

Ranchi: The mountain of sorrows has broken on David Miller, the star player of the South Africa cricket team who visited India. Miller’s special fan Annie died on October 8. Annie has been very close to Miller. He has given information about this by sharing a video on social media. It can be clearly seen in this video that he is seen playing cricket with this little girl. Along with a short video, Miller wrote, ‘RIP my dear princess, love will always be there!’

Seeing this video of Miller, it seemed that it was his daughter but it is not so. This was Miller’s most special and greatest Annie. Annie was suffering from cancer. Miller did not share any further information with the video.

David Miller has come on the Indian tour for three T20Is and as many ODI series. This South African middle-order batsman is in excellent form against India. He played an unbeaten 106 in the second match of the T20 series. Apart from this, he also played an unbeaten 75 in the first ODI against India, due to which South Africa registered a win against India and took a 1-0 lead in the series.

Miller has played 147 ODIs and 107 T20Is for South Africa. In ODI cricket, he has scored 3614 runs at an average of 41.54 including 5 centuries and 18 half-centuries. Apart from this, he has scored 2069 runs in T20. He has two centuries and 5 half-centuries to his name in this format.

Miller has also played continuously in the Indian Premier League. In IPL 2022, he was bought by the team of Gujarat Titans at a bid of 3 crores.
