Corona cases in Delhi NCR have raised everyone’s concern. Meanwhile, another shocking report has come out. It is being told that in the last 1 month this year, symptoms of corona, flu or viral fever have been seen in 8 out of every 10 families. Not only this, it is almost double compared to last year. Last year, during the monsoon season between July and August, 41% of households had symptoms of corona, flu or viral. Whereas this year this figure has reached 82%. It is believed that this figure has increased due to Corona.
Not only this, it has also been said in the survey of LocalCircles that in some cases people are using home kits to know that they have corona or other viral fever. However, in such cases, there is a risk of other family members also getting infected, especially children or a member suffering from any disease.
1964 cases of corona have been found in Delhi in the last 24 hours. The positivity rate has gone up to 9.42%. During this 8 people have also lost their lives. Earlier on August 16, Delhi’s Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena appealed to the people to follow the Corona guidelines. He had issued an advisory saying, “It is important that we realize that the epidemic is not over. I appeal to all to strictly follow the proper behavior of Kovid.

Compared to last year, only 41% of households in Delhi-NCR reported that one or more members of their household had flu-like symptoms. In July-August 2021, the transition of the Delta variant was reduced. But cases of Omicron are continuously coming in Delhi-NCR. Patients increasing in Delhi’s private hospital
Due to the increasing cases of corona in Delhi, patients have started increasing in private hospitals. Symptoms like fever, sore throat, cough and runny nose are being seen in a large number of patients. Omicron’s BA.2.75 variant is believed to be the main reason behind the increase in cases and increase in patients in hospitals. The newer variants of Omicron are the main reason for the increase in infection as they are also successful in warding off immunity. Although most patients have mild symptoms, only a few are showing severe symptoms of corona. In such a situation, doctors have advised caution, while the government is also emphasizing on booster doses.
