Lahore: 5 matches of the ongoing 7 match T20 series between Pakistan and England have been played. In this, Pakistan has taken a 3-2 lead. The next match of this series will be played on 30 September. Meanwhile, a big news has come out. Pakistan fast bowler Naseem Shah has been discharged from the hospital.
He has reached the hotel. Naseem had pneumonia and has tested positive for COVID-19. He was then taken to the hospital where he was undergoing treatment. The young fast bowler will now isolate himself in the hotel. However, he will not be available for the remaining two T20 matches against England. Naseem tweeted and said- I am feeling better and recovering. Thank you for keeping me in your prayers! May Allah protect us all. Please remember me! See you all very soon!
His participation in the tri-series in New Zealand depends on his medical condition. The teams are playing a seven-match series – four in Karachi and three in Lahore. Pakistan has won three out of five matches in the series.
Alhamdulillah, I am feeling better and recovering well. Thank you for keeping me in your prayers!
May Allah protect us all. Duaon main yaad rakhaye ga!
See you all very soon!

In-house medical panel monitoring
Naseem is the second member of Pakistan’s camp to be Kovid positive during the current series against England. A member of the Pakistan Support Staff has turned out to be Kovid positive. Naseem spent Wednesday night in the hospital following pneumonia. The PCB announced that their in-house medical panel was monitoring them.
The Pakistan team will leave for New Zealand on 3 October. Bangladesh is also included in this series. After the final on October 14, he will leave for Australia for the World Cup. Pakistan’s team will play its first match against India on 23 October in Melbourne after the warm-up match.
Great performance in Asia Cup
Naseem took part in the first match of the current series against England. He also played an important role in the recently concluded Asia Cup. In the absence of Shaheen Shah Afridi, he took over as Pakistan’s leading new bowler and batsman. Afridi, who is undergoing treatment for a knee injury in London, is expected to be available for Pakistan for the World Cup.
