Virat Kohli has been given a break before the last match of the T20 series against India and West Indies being played in Kolkata. According to the news agency PTI, Virat Kohli has been given a break from the bio bubble before the third T20 on Sunday before the Test series against Sri Lanka. Virat Kohli has left for home.
Virat Kohli has played 3 ODIs against West Indies in Ahmedabad and 2 T20Is in Kolkata.
After the T20 series against West Indies, Team India has to play a series of 3 T20 and 2 Test matches against Sri Lanka. Virat Kohli has been given a break keeping in mind the Test series against Sri Lanka. The series against Sri Lanka will start from February 24 with the first T20 in Lucknow. The first T20 is to be played in Lucknow and the last two T20 matches are to be played in Dharamsala.
After the T20 series, two Test matches are to be played against Sri Lanka. The Test series is to begin in Mohali from March 4 and the second Test match will be played in Bangalore from March 12. The first Test to be played in Mohali will be very special for Virat Kohli. Virat will land in Mohali to play his 100th Test. The second Test match to be held in Bangalore will be the third Day-Night Test match to be played in India.
