India tour of Pakistan: There is going to be a great match between India and Pakistan this week. But even before this, a different war has started between both the teams and the two countries. This war is going on for the Indian team’s tour of Pakistan next year. Actually, Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) secretary Jay Shah has said that the Indian team will not go to Pakistan for next year’s Asia Cup 2023. After this statement, there has been an uproar in Pakistan.
Shahid Afridi furious over Jai Shah’s statement
Former Pakistani captain Shahid Afridi said in a tweet that a friendly atmosphere has developed between the two countries in the last few years. Now in a few days another match is to be played between India and Pakistan. In such a situation, this statement of Jai Shah is not correct. His statement has come at the wrong time.
Afridi wrote in the tweet, ‘In the last 12 months when good friendly atmosphere has been created from both the sides (India and Pakistan). This has created a nice feel-good factor between both the countries. Then why has the BCCI secretary made this statement just before the T20 World Cup match? This shows the lack of experienced cricket administration in India.
When excellent comradery between the 2 sides in the past 12 months has been established that has created good feel-good factor in the 2 countries, why BCCI Secy will make this statement on the eve of #T20WorldCup match? Reflects lack of cricket administration experience in India

Pakistan Cricket Board also threatened BCCI
On the other hand, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is also infuriated by Jai Shah’s statement. According to PTI, sources related to Pakistan Board President Rameez Raja say that after this statement of India, Pakistan is ready to take tough decisions, but it will also take care of the rules of ICC and ACC.
Not only this, the PCB has also threatened to withdraw from the ODI World Cup to be hosted by India next year. On India’s decision not to come to Pakistan for the Asia Cup, the PCB says that it can also withdraw its name from the ODI World Cup, which is to be held in India in 2023.
