Indian Navy Recruitment 2021: Indian Navy has sought applications from eligible and interested candidates for recruitment to 500 posts of AA and 2000 posts of SSR. The application process for these posts has started on October 16 and will continue till October 25.
There is good news for the candidates who want to join the Indian Navy. Navy has sought applications from eligible and interested candidates for recruitment to 500 posts of Artificer Apprentice (AA) and 2000 posts of Senior Secondary Recruit (SSR). These applications have been sought for the batch going to start in February 2022 and only unmarried male candidates can apply for these posts. According to the official notification issued by the Navy for this recruitment, the application process for these posts has started from October 16 and will continue till October 25. Required Qualification to Apply: To apply for
the posts of AA, candidates must have passed class XII examination with 60% marks from any one of Chemistry/Biology/Commuter in addition to Mathematics and Physics subjects. Whereas to apply for the posts of SSR, it is necessary to have passed the 12th examination with any one of the subjects of Science / Biology / Computer in addition to Mathematics and Physics subjects. There is no requirement of minimum marks to apply for the posts of SSR. Candidates born between 1 February 2002 to 31 January 2005 can apply for both these posts.
What will be the selection process: For
these posts, a shortlist of 10,000 candidates will be prepared on the basis of the first 12th marks. These 10 thousand shortlisted candidates will be called for written tests and physical fitness tests. After this, the merit list of successful candidates in these examinations will be issued and they will be called for medical tests and other tests. Candidates who clear all the tests will be selected for the posts of Artificer Apprentice (AA) and Senior Secondary Recruit (SSR).
Salary and other allowances: The
candidates who are selected for these two posts will undergo training for a few weeks initially and during this, they will get Rs 14,600 as a stipend every month. After the completion of the training period, they will get a salary between Rs 21,700 to Rs 69,100 under Level 3 of the Defense Pay Matrix. Apart from this, the candidates who are selected for these posts will get the benefit of Rs 5200 per month as military service allowance and many other allowances.
