According to a post by user ‘yeux1122’ of a Korean blog, the rumored Apple iPhone 14 Pro model will come with 8GB of RAM. This RAM option is more than the iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max, including the iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max.
According to the blog post, the supply chain management of components is becoming very difficult due to the Kovid epidemic. This is the reason why Apple is accelerating the production of iPhone 14 Pro. According to a Bloomberg report in December, Apple had also informed component suppliers about the demand for the iPhone 13 lineup. The company had cut the production target of iPhone 13 by 10 million units.
By the way, the company is already offering 16 GB RAM option in its 11-inch iPad Pro (2021) model. This iPad was launched in April 2021. Now the iPhone 14 Pro is being said to bring it on par with the Samsung Galaxy S22 and S22+ with 8 GB of RAM. These smartphones have been launched on 9 February. Their launch in India has also happened on Thursday. The Galaxy S22 and S22+ smartphones are tipped to pack 8GB of RAM with 128GB and 256GB of storage options, while the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra offers 12GB of RAM.
As far as the iPhone 14 Pro is concerned, its claim of being equipped with 8GB of RAM is not confirmed yet. Nothing has been said about the upcoming iPhone series from Apple.
