Recalling this incident, Siraj told that it was a wonderful surprise of his life. Recalling this incident in the podcast of Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), Mohammad Siraj said that it was the biggest surprise for him.

In fact, in the year 2018, the RCB team had reached Hyderabad to play against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH), during which fast bowler Mohammad Siraj had called the RCB captain for dinner at his house, but Virat at that time gave Siraj back pain. It was postponed by making an excuse. After which Virat Kohli himself along with his teammates (Parthiv Patel and Yuzvendra Chahal) reached Siraj’s house to surprise him.

Recalling this incident, fast bowler Mohammad Siraj said, ‘I had come straight from the hotel to my house, I had called everyone in the team for dinner at my house. After reaching home, I called Virat Bhai and asked him, he said that Mian, I have a pain in my back. After which I told him that okay you rest, I could not even say anything other than this… then after sometime all the people came, then I ran towards him (Virat) and I hugged him.

The credit for giving flight to the career of fast bowler Mohammad Siraj also goes to former captain Virat Kohli. Siraj said, ‘That was the best surprise of my life. Virat Kohli had reached Toli Chowki and it had become a big news at that time.
