Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) is expected to release the results of the Phase I examination for recruitment to the posts of Non-Technical Popular Category (NTPC) in Indian Railways soon. For this recruitment to be held for 35,277 posts, the first phase is written examination was conducted in 7 phases and the last phase examination ended on 31 July. RRB has already released the answer key for this exam. But, the candidates have not got their results yet. Candidates who will be successful in this Phase I exam will get a chance to participate in CBT 2 of NTPC Recruitment. 

By when the results can be released:

Regarding the results of CBT 1, it was earlier expected that it can be declared by the end of October. But, no official information has been released regarding this yet. However, according to various media reports, the results of CBT 1 can now be released by the end of November. So the candidates should keep an eye on the official website for related information. After the declaration of results, candidates can check it on the official website of RRB or the website of their zone with the help of registration numbers and other details.

There is competition among more than 350 candidates for 1 seat:

The candidates who are going to appear in this recruitment of NTPC will have to face very serious competition. Actually, a total of 35,277 posts are to be recruited through this recruitment, but about 1.25 crore candidates had applied to join this recruitment. Accordingly, if we look at the number of posts and the number of applicants, then about 354 candidates are competing among themselves for a seat in this recruitment. So the candidates must assume that the cut-off may be higher in this exam.
