Sainik School: Union Cabinet Approves 100 Sainik Schools, Admission Process Will Start From Next Year

Sainik School: The Union Cabinet has approved 100 schools in the government and private sectors to be affiliated with the Sainik School Society under the Ministry of Defence. Starting from the academic year 2022-23, around 5,000 students are expected to get admission in class VI in 100 such affiliated schools.


The Union Cabinet has taken another step to bring about a change in the existing pattern of Sainik Schools. In a recent announcement, the Union Cabinet has approved the affiliation of 100 schools under the Sainik Schools Society. With this initiative, new admissions in class 6th will start from the academic year 2022-23.
