Samisha Shetty Kundra was born through surrogacy. Shilpa gave this good news to the fans on social media. She also told later in an interview that she tried hard for the second child, but due to the problem, she could not become a mother again. So she and Raj resorted to surrogacy. They also have a son named Viaan.

Shilpa and Raj celebrated daughter Samisha’s second birthday with pomp. However, only family members attended this party. Her sister Shamita’s boyfriend Rakesh Bapat was also seen in the celebration.
