Discussions of Ajay Devgan’s new film Thank God are happening everywhere. The film has created a place in many controversies even before its release. Chitragupta’s name changed
The makers of Thank God have made some changes while submitting the film to the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC). He changed the name of Chitragupta to CG and Yamraj to YD. Apart from this, three more changes have been made in the film. Director Indra Kumar has got a U/A certificate from the board for Thank God.
After the release of the first teaser of Thank God, there was panic on social media. Many users had objected to the name of Lord Chitragupta being used in the film. In the Puranas, in the court of Dharmaraja, Chitragupta has been described as an accountant who keeps an account of the sins and virtues of humans. In such a situation, users said that Ajay Devgan’s character in Thank God is an insult to him.

The story of the film Thank God is about a man who commits many sins in his life. After this he is faced with death. Siddharth Malhotra is playing this character. In the trailer of the film, Siddharth is sitting in heaven and Ajay Devgan, who became Chitragupta, is counting his sins. Siddharth will be given a chance to rectify his misdeeds, after which it will be known what happens to him in the film. A petition was also filed in the Supreme Court to stay the release of this film. However, the court refused to give an immediate decision on this. Now this petition will be heard on November 21. In the midst of all this, the makers did not want that there should be more controversy on the film. In such a situation, he has made changes in the film. These include changing the name as well as blurring the name of a liquor brand and changing the angle of a temple scene. Changes have also been made to the disclaimer at the beginning of the film. Its duration has been slightly extended so that the audience can read it properly.
The film Thank God is releasing in theaters on 25 October. It will clash with Akshay Kumar’s film Ram Setu. On the occasion of Diwali, two big stars of Bollywood will be face to face. It has to be seen who wins at the box office.
