HPCA Secretary Sumit Sharma said that HPCA will not sell tickets at the counter for the first time. Due to following the Kovid protocol, tickets can be bought online on Paytm. According to the HPCA management, if the tickets are sold at the counter, then there will be a crowd outside the stadium for cricket lovers to buy tickets.
Due to this, there will be a violation of the Kovid protocol. Hence tickets will be sold online through Paytm. Tickets will be sold on a first come first served basis. The HPCA management has fixed the rates of tickets according to the stands. The reason for this is that due to the Kovid rules in the 22000 capacity stadium, only 50 spectators will get entry.
