The recruitment process for the posts of Panchayat Assistant in Uttar Pradesh has not been completed yet. Because there were many controversial questions in the minds of the candidates regarding the selection process of this recruitment, after which the candidates had filed a petition in the Lucknow Bench of the Allahabad High Court regarding this recruitment of Panchayat Assistant posts to be held in more than 58 thousand posts. After which the court had stayed the recruitment process of the selected candidates in this recruitment. The court had fixed the next hearing on October 13 regarding this matter, but due to some reasons, the hearing could not be done on the scheduled date. However, a separate hearing will now be held by the court on October 18. After this, it is expected that soon the candidates applying for Panchayat Assistant Recruitment can be selected and appointed. But the court can also make another decision in this matter, which will be universal.
According to the information received from the official website of the Uttar Pradesh Panchayati Raj Department, where a maximum number of Panchayat assistants will be appointed, the Jaunpur district of the state has a maximum number of 21 blocks. About 1740 Gram Panchayats come under these blocks. In such a situation, in this block, the maximum number of recruitments will be done on the posts of Panchayat Assistant. According to departmental information, so far 1507 candidates have been selected in Jaunpur, in which the contract letter of 172 candidates has also been submitted.
