As per a report by MySmartPrice, the Chinese smartphone maker is planning to launch a new Pro model soon. Currently, the company sells the Vivo T1 and T1X in China, but is following the two high-end models. The report said that sources related to this matter have also disclosed the launch timeline of T1 Pro 5G in India. This model will arrive in the country sometime between April and May of 2022.
In other words, we can also expect the device to be first introduced in the Chinese brand’s domestic market. However, sources further added that the Chinese version of the T1 Pro may be different from the version coming to India. At the moment, there is no specific information about this Pro version. But it is expected to offer beefed up specifications compared to the base T1, which had the Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 in India, while the Chinese variant had the Snapdragon 778G.
Vivo T1 Pro 5G may come with a strong battery
Other features include a 6.58-inch FHD+ IPS LCD screen that offers 120Hz refresh rate. Apart from this, it also offers 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. It packs a massive 5,000mAh battery and supports 18W fast charging as well. So, the Pro model could eventually bring the Snapdragon 778G to India, or possibly an even more powerful SoC.
