Elaborating on this, Sachin Tendulkar said that he returned Virat because he was priceless. Sachin said, ‘I kept it for a while and then returned it. I said – it is priceless and it has to be with you and no one else. It is your property and it should be with you till your last breath. I gave it back to him. It was an emotional moment, something that will remain in my memory forever, forever.’
Sachin also revealed in the conversation that he never knew how much amount he was getting from BCCI to play cricket for India. He said that from his debut to retirement in 1989, his focus was only on scoring runs. Sachin Tendulkar is the highest run-scorer in Test cricket as well as in ODIs. He has 100 centuries in international cricket to his name.
